His Silent AngelA Poem by TallulahShe was his silent angelHis Silent Angel
She was his silent angel That spoke to him through her silent language That only he could understand Her small movements told a story of a Heaven That he only ever dreamed of entering.
She showed him to listen Without needing to hear “I swear if you look with your eyes All the sounds you never heard are there.” She had signed to him He small hands moving klutzily to forming words
And he realized what she was saying Every time a mouth opened wide He realized that one was laughing And he began to hear the wondrous noise In his mind And when her lips moved as she signed He imagined what her voice would sound like Something similar to laughter Or maybe it would sound like her dance Ig her dance had sound Something too beautiful It was indescribable Like how angels were described in books Soft, melodious like music he was never blessed enough to hear But then it didn’t matter Because he was blessed enough to stand in True beauty’s presence She was the Aphrodite of his world The Athena of his mind Everything beautiful in his world She was his silent angel © 2011 TallulahAuthor's Note
