THe Silent LanguageA Poem by TallulahShe spoke to him in her silent language that only he could understand. The Silent Language
Her hands rose gently As her foot slid pointed out to the side Her body turned Each movement in time to the music He could not hear She was speaking to him Without words Each move she made Told him a story In the only way she knew how She jumped with so much strength And he watched amazed as her Body revealed to him a story for only him to see.
Grand jetes, pirouettes, glissades and chasses She told him the names of the beautiful movements But he only saw the images of a haven he wished he was a part of A beautiful blue heaven he wished she could see Her hands weaved through the air He saw her move graceful like an angel And he was filled with so much awe And the sight shook His silent world And he wondered if She had once ever seen herself dance Before her world was Overtaken by the darkness
And her beauty was outstanding And she spoke to him In her silent language. © 2011 TallulahAuthor's Note
