Shards Of Blue

Shards Of Blue

A Poem by Tallulah

Sometimes I just want to drown
Sink below the earth
Into the sea
And watch as the water
Covers everything.
Creating a beautiful world seen through
Broken shards of blue
Giving everything life
while taking mine away.

Open my mouth wide
To breath in
But as air bubble leave my mouth
and escape to the surface
Water rushes into me
filling my very being
With the exact beauty I see
With the exact beauty I wish
I could be.

Nothing is better then the ocean
An underwater kingdom
Only a few are privileged to see

A world lit
in a beautiful,
vibrant,
life giving hue
that slowly steals from me...

That beautiful world of blue.
