He makes me smile

 With simple words

Makes me feel beautiful

Even though I know I'm not....

 

He makes me feel important

Makes me feel like My opinion matters

And that I'm not alone

 

Even on the grayest day

With a word

He can make me smile

Make the sun appear

And make it seem as if the clouds

Were never there.

 

He makes me smile

And I long for his embrace

But he's to far away.

Yet even with this

Great distance between us

He has the never ending ability

To make me smile
