Where Are You?A Poem by Rosee Where are you as I race time
Listening to the cities ticking As I hear the bell towers chime While I notice the world's constant clicking Where are you as I stare at the world Wrapped in swirls and silver Below me waiting, curled. Like an ocean to a river Where are you as I gaze at the clouds Swift and smooth like butter Are you down there with the confused crowd? With all the worry and clutter Where are you as I shed a tear Wondering were you've gone I can see so clearly past the sheer Surroundings but then comes dawn Where are you as walk home Whispering your name I feel trapped in this dome You left as fast as you came © 2009 Rosee |
