Blood LustA Poem by fallen_angelAnother thingy for school- haikus. Not some of my best work, but...Her blood calls to me, To hide beneath flesh,
To bury my fangs within, Layers of fragile skin. Ohh how it would be,
To feel her flesh against mine, Or her teasing blood. How it calls to me,
A pounding through my body, Fangs slide out to claim. They claim what is mine,
They claim what is pulling me, They claim what is theirs. Skin beneath my hands,
With her blood beneath layers, She turns to face me. A soft face looks up,
Her eyes draw my attention, Just simple blue eyes. But behind those eyes,
There is a girl with no fear, Her blood stops calling. My hand slips from her,
Still burning hot from her heat, Wishing to grab her. Yet I do not dare,
Reach out for the girl stronger, So strong to beat me. How ashamed I am,
To be beaten by a child, I walk far away. Away from the girl,
Away from her flesh and blood, Away from her eyes. From the girl I walk,
Into the endless darkness, Leaving her to live. The dark embraces,
Pulling me into the night, Like a long lost friend. How so close I was,
To giving in to my lust, But never again. © 2009 fallen_angelAuthor's Note
