I stand in this cemetery,

In front of your lonely grave.

In my hand I hold a red rose,

A rose for you.

It's okay to cry today,

To let the pain engulf me.

It's alright to reminisce,

To think about you.

I wonder if you can hear my thoughts,

If you're watching me from above.

I wonder whether you can feel my pain,

To feel my heart aching all over again.

Now tell me something,

Why did you leave?

If you were still here,

Would I still be your best friend?

What if I had the power,

To bring you back...

Would you allow me to use my power?

To let you live again?

The tears won't stop flowing now,

The pain is too great.

My heart is dying again,

It's being stabbed again and again.

Why did god have to take you from me?

Why you of all people?

How come I still don't know why,

Or how you're gone?

Why am I stuck in this life,

When you're no longer with me?

Why was my childhood taken away from me?

Why did a child have to feel such pain?

I resent life,

I despise it.

Oh how it's unfair,

How it is cruel.

I can't stand this anymore,

I shall walk away.

But first, upon your grave I place a red rose,

Why a red rose?

Because you were my first love.

Full of emotion and very sad. im so sorry for your loss, falling in love with your best friend im very familiar with that ha ha. Anyway it was very heartfelt and touching just as Frieda mentioned in her comment, and i really enjoyed this one.

Well, life sometimes is really cruel. Things are always not we thought. This is kind of heartbreaking, devoid of sadness. The pain you feel, it's like stabbing by a invisible sword hardly, but no matter how pain is it, the love of both, still won't change. The love, continues forever. You create a really sad but beautiful poem.
