I was going through my computer when I found this short story. I wrote it around about the age of 8 and I find it very cute and sweet. It somehow reminds me of my young, innocent days~~*

It all started when my sister and I went out into the garden to play. We saw an old lady sitting outside our hide-out reading to a bird.

We murmured amongst ourselves, trying to figure out where the strange lady had come from.

She had a crooked nose, hair as grey as the road, and the strangest thing was that she had a little black cat following her around.

 

 While we were talking the lady asked us to join her in her story.

We came closer to the lady. She told us the story about her when she was little.

She began to tell the story… “When I was little I really liked to pretend that I was a witch.”  Then when she looked up at us we saw that she had red eyes. She continued … “I was out in my hide-out when an evil witch came to me and said that a few days later I would turn into a witch!

I was so scared that I couldn’t sleep for nights.

A few days passed and I started to grow a big long crooked nose, long grey hair and when I saw a black cat it started following me.

Now I need you two to help me find that witch, so that I could turn back into that nice little girl I was before and as young as when I first saw that witch.

 My sister and I had a little chat to see if we should go or not.

 Then we both mutely agreed to go with the old lady which now is a witch.

We three searched hills and valleys to find that old evil witch.

Then finally we came to a sign that says “Beware of the evil witch who lives in the cave.”

Now that we know where to find the evil witch we flew as fast as we can on the witches broom to the cave.

As soon as we got there we ran into the cave to find the evil witch.

The nice witch said “Watch out for the evil witch, she might know that were here so she might turn invisible and capture us.”

When we got to the evil witches room we saw her sleeping. We thought it was easy to kill her so that the curse would be broken.

But … when we were about to pick up a knife to kill her she woke up and captured us and put us into a cage.

After the witch had gone we started to ask the nice witch to put a braking spell on the bars of the cage.

Because the nice witch really wanted to turn back into herself she put an extra strong braking spell on the bars of the cage.

After we got out we ran to the evil witch and said “we are going to kill you so if you want to say anything say it now.

The witch just smiled and then we all picked up the same knife and killed the witch.

After we had killed the witch we saw dark green smoke coming out of the nice witch and the evil witch, we knew that the curse had been broken.

 We saw that the nice witch has turned into a little girl again, she thanked us so many times that we had to bring her home quicklỵ

Now when we see a little black cat we know that it is looking for its owner the nice witch, which is now a little girl again.
