Just give up and stop your trying

It makes no real difference

No matter what you say or do, you keep falling

No more does your work have relevance

 

Tirelessly, a written page is born

Bones ache until they’re numb

Yet they look upon your work with scorn

And you’re left there feeling dumb

 

Appreciation is hard to find

And even harder still to earn

Sometimes you might think that they are blind

But soon enough, it’ll be your turn

 

Remember how it feels inside

When your work gets not a single eye

Remember to leave aside your pride

And continue on and try
