A Poem Just for You

The love that flows through my veins

Sprinkles on you, just like rain

My heart carries this love

It flies through the air, like a dove

The feathers are sleek and they shine

The color reminds me that your heart is mine

Your face shows the love that you feel

And your eyes are blue as steel

Your body is so strong and masculine

I feel faint, as though I'll fall in

The ocean of emotion that I feel

Fills up my soul, just like a great meal

I want to live in your heart

And die in your arms

I know that you will keep me safe from harm
