Him

Him

A Poem by Faith Kinnison

Him

He was there, and I knew him

And he didn’t care, that I used him

I told him that I loved you

And he said he’d never tell you

I told him how wrong it was

But he said it wasn’t, because

You didn’t love me anymore

He said I should forgive you, before

I lost myself in the memories

Before I got trapped in my mind

I should have known, you’d forgive me

Before you even knew what was wrong

But I couldn’t tell him that

I still love you

And you have taken me back
