Lost

Lost

A Poem by Faith Kinnison

Lost

Where is the man I loved?

Where is the lord above?

Where should I go?

Where is the life I know?

How can you still be here?

How do you get past the fear?

How do you find the strength?

How do you finish the game?

I don’t know where I am.

I can’t find the hand,

the one that led me here.

I can’t find my friend,

the one that found me here.

He was just there,

in the dark.

I found him,

and I gave him my heart.

I  am so confused,

I cannot see

how someone like him

could love someone like me.

Are you here to save me?

Do you love me?

Are you lost?

How can you find me

if I don’t know where you are?

I feel lost,

in the dark.

Can you find my heart?
