Love Lost

Love Lost

A Poem by Faith Kinnison

Love Lost

I lie here on my bed, remembering my dreams

My loves of yesterday, loves lost in every way

My heart is his forever, it is his to treasure

Every day there was something new

An adventure, a heart so true

I sit in the park, on the bench, in the dark

Remembering my loves, loves lost in every way

We had good days, and bad days too

Still the excitement was there,

Everything was new

Brunette, blonde, or red head

Blue eyes, brown eyes, I’m there

Looks don’t really matter

I just don’t care
