Tell Me

Tell Me

A Poem by Faith Kinnison

Tell Me

Tell me you want me

Tell me you need me

Tell me you can’t live without me

Tell me I’m your love,

Your life,

Tell me you don’t want another wife

Tell me you’re here for me

Tell me you want to be near me

You think that because we’ve bee together so long

I don’t need to hear these things anymore

The fact that we’re still together

Should make it easier to tell me how you feel

But if this isn’t how you feel

You should tell me that too

Maybe I don’t want to be with you

If you can’t tell me

What I want to hear

Just look into my eyes,

Hold my hands,

snuggle up close

and tell me
