The Other Man

The Other Man

A Poem by Faith Kinnison

The Other Man

There’s someone else

I’m sure you know that by now

I’ve rehearsed this a hundred times

But it’s still hard to tell you

I’m sure you want to know who he is

And I’ll get to that soon enough

But first I want to tell you about him

I want you to know why I love him

He’s the most incredible man I’ve ever known

He’s strong and sensitive

He’s all you are and more

He acts like I’m everything

I’m the world to him
