Unanswered Questions

How could this be, how could I not see?

That you were so very wrong for me?

Why did I fall in love with you?

Could you just give me a clue?

What was it that first attracted me?

Why didn’t I just let you be?

Why do I feel this way?

How do I ease the pain?

Is it truly better to have loved and lost?

Or do they say that so you feel better about the cost?

Is love really worth the sacrifice?

Or could you go without it, your whole life?

Does each lover take a piece of your soul?

When you die are you filled with holes?

If so, how do you fill the void?

I can’t sleep, and I’m annoyed

I don’t know how to move on

I feel like you have used me as a pawn

I don’t know how to recover

I don’t want to find a new lover

I will sit alone, in the dark

I will try to mend my broken heart

So, until I see you again

Try to answer these questions, my friend.
