Gems

A Poem by Deborah Shepard

I have the same hypnotic dreams each nigh
Regal and powerful visions come through
Deep in threw wilderness I run
Twilight I am spirit of the moon

I have whispered my heart
Prayers to the ominous butterflies
They shall carry my soft notes by wolf
My fingertips almost call

On the edge of frog moon sits a symbol
Across my storms I feel mythic lightening arrayed in me
I am layered with many feathers, evening majestic
I am autumns season gown, I am the snow rider of wintry lights

Watching the night rider, wings engulf my presence to he
hand painted etch the wolfs heart
Panorama tic visions unaware of his soul
As it drifts again in my lost spirits dream

Dreams are amazing, aren't they! You've captured bits of dreams and mixed them hypnotically, Deborah. :-) Sharon
