A Poem by Deborah Shepard

With This Ring
by Deborah Shepard

With this ring I thee carry mine hearts own
To cherish in lovers blooms, in heavens realm
Through entirety thy roses will flower the heavens gardens stairs
The love is with angels song everywhere

With this ring I thee wed thine soul to wake with mine
Kindred loves to share everlasting dawns, be thine
Sunsets and stars in thee eyes will mirror my heart
Reflections of time will never part

With this ring I thee wed
With serpentine glass I will see you smile at last
Mirrors etched with a sweet embrace
With thine painted palette, the angels portrait your face
