Opaque songs

Opaque songs

A Poem by Deborah Shepard

Neath’ lovers soft eyes, wills intent
Laced gown , sweet  goddess years spent
My Irish love come to me in stillness morn
Glazed in summers eve, not scorn

Neath’ azure skies lavender rain
Radiant ambers eyes surrender, in his arms again
Butterflies cries heard in souls bathe

Opaque songs heardin each twilight sleeve

Roses lay in elusive, in fluttering
Ginger etching alone
Lighted cellos food for the Gods
Each Faeroes princess belongs to all who hears

I look forward to reading more of your work.
