Fairys Clan

Fairys Clan

A Poem by Deborah Shepard

It happened a very long time ago, the silence fell upon the fairies  prefumed stain
The magical village becomes shimmery red, many saw the legend and dread, it happened again
The news sailed it all countries wide and free till soon many would test the fairies king
He needed to hear mistress wren sing

Then he could embark on the journey wide, to slip in quite as none have seen human kind

Each vase they quickly filled with  pollen dew, the door made of mahogany wood, hearts could
In the very tip of the fairy wren, lived a hummingbird  purple throated  friend
A surprise was hush on fairies  trees, you could even see the brownies sleeve
Soft many casualties, for you see if human would open the grove, it would lose magical powers to those

All browines tried to ambush ,of energy gnome, he begrudged to to make the village his home
Unhappy browines gatherd in his soul, awaiting trials of earths toils, and ruins
The starlight vase stood full of tears and shine, and magical to who could smile
Later that night as the twilight  settled in for the light, casted spells distant miles
Each fairy, in the village opened the  magical place
In prose to fairies light,  share a cloak dagger of each flight
Water sieved from the flask they held dear, enveloped the water-drop kite
Pons the Darwin up village hidden in clump of trees, alone in fright
Centuries go by, each fairys wisp can see, if they believe
The hidden village no bigger than me
