Angels plight

Angels plight

A Poem by Deborah Shepard

While the ageless canvas, angels  painted in cherubs light
Beautiful opaque, patinas soft silvery skies
Young-eyed angelic child's heart
Pure, innocence of darkness

Angels unseen two shall prevail the skies
Known utterances spoken silence
Vesper knottiness in rise sunsets
lasting seven trumpets blare once again

Love heralds in my everything
Soft erodes in lasting song
Celeste lives brought in mother earths totems stays
Lights gathered in azure linings

Hello Deborah,

I have read a few of your poems. They are well written fantasies of love and light and angels from above. You are obviously a woman in love. Good for you. The world is filled with many wonders, some discovered, some yet to come. Peace and long life. Sandina

This one is a more conventional telling about love but is nonetheless admirable in all its sophisticated depictions!! Indeed, personally, I have so much appreciated the content of "love is forever" and "Dear my diary", but that does not mean that this one is less interesting. It is just different!!! The first paragraph is particularly interesting for its rich use of vocabulary about light and colours! thank you!
