Be still my little one

Be still my little one

A Poem by Deborah Shepard

Nothing stirs, wintry capped heart
Flickering, prelim moments, dancing in the dark
Whimsical  deer strayed in the fairies glen
Soft sounds surround the gentle friend

Gentle moonscape, encountered each wing
Hand-painted along the rivers edge
Vanishing without one utterance beat
Majestic eagles landings sweet

In forever inspired hooves great speed
Quite morning as each one fed
Richness and hues saddled the day
Each vintage horse, crowned to stay

Very poetically and beautifully written. You write to stir the senses and it works quite well. Great write!
