Gods throw

Gods throw

A Poem by Deborah Shepard

Special cherub  children come to mind, when I think of sight
To share in each morning giving them hopes light
Chance meetings outings never  happened, no more sorrows logged
So I thank you to seeing eye dogs

Special communities offering services to them, even in later life
Classes to share smiles and to ultimately care
To share the dreams, hope and fears demising each day
Life returns to each, soft play

In the ending of time when the child is no longer young
The beauty is relationships built hearts  strong
Each one needing applique to grow
Offered through the sight given from angel dog, gods temporal throw

very interesting delivery, with awesome imagery and allusions that stick out and are very compelling--enjoyed. tovli

there are some interesting mysterious allusions ('seeing eye dogs', 'god's temporal throw'). But there is an awkwardness to the syntax and choice of words which indicates that francais may be your premier langue. Though if i were to write something in french, it wouldn't pass for poetry like your's does.

This poem has a, unique flow to it. It falls off your tung to a silent beat....a quiet beautiful tempo. I really enjoyed reading this, well done!
