Behold

Behold

A Poem by Deborah Shepard

I am but the eyes of the wise phoenix

I am called by the gentle air

By the waters edge, each deserts song

I am called by the moons face

Celeste is captured in my heart to share earths hum

Dreams dance with me as the walls of mighty rivers

Touch a small sparrow of early spring

The cries of the timber wolf

Barefoot traveler, behold the journey

Totem warriors speak , soverign spirits song
