Soverign Spirit

Soverign Spirit

A Poem by Deborah Shepard

Feathered wings, sovereign angels plight
Dreamcatchers eagle in moons flight
Majestic birds heard throughout each drums hum
Waves surround each totems light, till sunset

Feathered rose carried, handpainted in setting suns
Showcased in masters of the earth, time space
   Monarch twilight case
Mystic deep in snow bank designs

Each night the same candle is lit
Eternal soulmate, with strength courage, honor
Silvery Turquoise hangs in rafters so high
As each spirit of eagle promise Cherokee rose

Beautifully done. I love the lines "Monarch twilight case" and "Handpainted in setting suns." Deep, inspired imagery. Well done!
