![]() Happy Mothers Day..what is mother to meA Poem by Deborah Shepard![]() souls heart![]() What is mother we may ask? Yesteryears no more fear questions
Willows may ask. I will explain, souls heavenly plane
A seed is given to mother earths life, to beckon the hearts
Scattered in many directions going forth, each apart
Footprints small may come in passing, through many hurdles we may share
Paradise awaits the first child who begins to crawl, smile the precious days, we care
Then comes a stream of rainbow light above
Tender expressions sent from angels with love, growing soon and leave
Angels of hope I believe grant us time to share inner selves on earth
Angels kisses we posses as the mother we are inside, as they grow to there own rebirth
Radiant wings lent to us like butterfly spheres to cherish, to play
Arrayed in hope, faith, love, to share again there children one day
Tiny hands to play patty -cake with me, walking being a giant turtle
I remember as my mother would say, blue clues, queen for a day
Again it is to me, mother is as the caretaker of our soul
To nurture soft and hold till we are old, and then we are in his hands to pottery clay to mold
