Childs day

Childs day

A Poem by Deborah Shepard

Sandpipers feet tiptoed to ballet quartet
As we swayed in Carmel bay,the day we danced the minuet
Singing with each laughing dauphins song

Ominous clouds  parted  off by  each child's hands
We listened as the sea gulls played, as if the band
Each sporadic seed dropped from the skies, softly

Falling erodes danced in speckled waves
Clipped shores each saved
Children freckling in springtime sun

Tasseled across the foams were ribbons of fish
Dancing to the suns special wisp
Children feet merrily pranced along, each bank of murmuring song

This was very sweet, and painted a very clear picture. I had no trouble imagining the scene. Though I did catch on typo, in the line "s we swayed in Carmel bay,, the day we danced the minuet" you have two commas. But other than that good work ^^
