Lovers

Lovers

A Poem by Deborah Shepard

:
Parole circa amore

Slumbering in dreamscape world
Fairies dancing in showering petals hidden deep
Sheer crystals surround, lost sweet embraces
Lost beauty never sleeps

Parole circa amore

Mysterious hauntings, once the kiss , fragile nigh
Soft petals to be found, each lost lovers stream
Beauty dances in mid summer's dream
Upon pon's twilight you can see in lovers auras

Parole circa amore

So whenever you sail in the blue velvet lake, touch the silvery moon
In the Celtic moors deep in bright, ask to see each fairys light
Dancing lovers in espied plight, shall arise form the depths of hearts told
So remember at twilight hold him close to your heart, see each fairys love never grow old

Excuse my ignorance here but I can see you have used a pattern, whether a known poetry layout or one of your own, I'm really not sure. However I like the repetition in the first two stanzas. To me they make the images float which fits the last stanza regarding the lake - and paints a wonderful background.
Enjoyed the language, something I have not yet got to grips with in writing poems yet. Mine tend to be too modern and lack the feel of some of the older words.
Great work.
