Souls Passages

Souls Passages

A Poem by Deborah Shepard

Magical passage  with pounding hooves
Vanishing ones dreams
Uniquely one gives light
Almost at the flicker of limbering misty light
White tail deer appear, each known plight
Vividly detailed in each soul graph
Vesper spirits inspiring
In soft northern world, many roam freely
Encounter showcase the backdrop of beauty
Each panorama is sketched at the doorway
Hope, love faith is renewed
Capturing shores of radiant sunlight
Rolling wanes of passions felt again
Music box of life wrapped in embraced feathered  time
It is the unrivaled master of disguise, his flight is seen
Symbol of loving freedom, grace, our inner being
The eagles earthy boundaries, wings to each serenity
