Night Wings

Night Wings

A Poem by Deborah Shepard

There is legend in the guardian realm
She is powerful mist the flames fury
She is mystical beast she is of cunning sleuth
She is impressive in the stars, each night collecting auras

Her powers are dangerous, past triumph collected wise
Of night vampires seduction, she sets, sharpens her talons inside
No one dares to defy her will
Her powers are said, crafted still

Her exterior is gleaming bright
She has many spells, which protect not even the vulnerable knight
Shimmering with razor etched erode black rose
She can step into many soul of those

She spreads her charms, mystical smiles
She is the temptress of fire and light
He who looks in her dragon eyes, sees no eternal sleep
But the slave of  dreams each merry meet
