Live On

Live On

A Poem by fairygirl2468

Don’t be sad that they’re gone,
For in the stillness they live on,
For in your hearts they live on.

In the boughs of green and luscious trees,
Inside the cool and soothing breeze.
Your hearts may mourn for them,
But know that you’ll meet again

Embrace the silence in your soul,
And look within, hold them dear your family and friends are here,
So keeping standing firm and strong
Because in your hearts the dead live on
