Fermamental Terminus

Fermamental Terminus

A Poem by Fergus

Firmamental Terminus

Even as past frustrations

sublimate into the ether

condensation creeps of ruminations

entangled between Malkuth and Keter,

on what to worry about next

Some seem to think the gravest sin is

abdication of their duty to fret the inevitable.

Perhaps the world stops on its axis

without scrutinizing every variable

and agonizing an inevitable unknown?

Dread gives birth to dreadful live

but carefully sorrowed gratuity despite sorrow

only hones the mind's scythe

as it harvests the strength to embrace tomorrow.

Sunset gives way to sunshine.
