Butterfly KissA Poem by Fading-to-Grayi wrote this when i was 13 based off a dream i had.
In a land far away
There lays a meadow, full of flowers and sweet grasses On this day you will find A lone Butterfly Wings as white as snow With a drop of yellow on each to rival the sun But if he could tell you He would say, It hasn't always been this way Once he had Two arms And walked feet on the ground With no wings to take flight with And had a girl who loved him But it was all taken away At the stream where the poison water flows In a land far away There lays a stream Cutting through the place where one world meets the next There a girl has sat each day and wept For the one who was taken there from her She saw him once on that faithful day A brush of his wing, a butterfly kiss And he sent her away Each day the stream runs purer Her tears of sadness washing the poison away But shes still on the other side And a world away The stream now runs With sad salty tears One day she can take it no longer And she slides into that stream That runs with enough sadness to break a heart In a land far away There lays a meadow Full of flowers and sweet grasses On this day you will find, two butterfly's A brush of their wings A butterfly kiss And they vanish together Into the mist © 2016 Fading-to-GrayAuthor's Note
