Two TreesA Poem by Fading-to-Gray
I saw two trees
Growing so close their trunks had fused together I thought the roots must be hopelessly intertwined Branches sprawling, they were strong and beautiful together. Years later i passed those same two trees To find them laying upturned One bare of leaves, The other still green. And I understood. © 2016 Fading-to-GrayReviews
