Voice

Voice

A Poem by Grace Elizabeth

My voice is lost in a sea of sound,
As waves of noise crash around me.
I fight to be heard,
above an onslaught of other voices.
Each of us silently, screaming our sad songs
In the hopes that one day;
We will be heard,
We will be saved.

I hear you. These words are words I have said to myself often. Beautifully poignant. Leaves me wondering why people who think we are quiet, assume we have nothing to say. Thank you for sharing this wonderful write.

This is just purely beautiful. I think its kind of relatable, is this how you really feel? Because the intensity is just phenomenal, keep on writing!

Overwhelming emotions with origins unknown
The endless days of continuous agony
Perpetual storm raging somewhere deep in mind
Concoction of miseries and torment inside
Vehement fury dulling realities
Disintegration of guards around my hidden side
Now is once more time to chose
Clinging to despair & melancholy for support
light of rationality fading in darkness
Decadence of love and hope in entirety
Dogma of acceptance the only truth
Maybe this is how it was meant to be
But this was not what I chose to believe
No one can listen my silent screams

Your voice and silence can be heard across continents. It was beautifully written and thoughts elegantly portrayed. I could relate to it. Please keep writing.
