Sunrise Poetry

There’s two sunsets in the sky-

(one for you and one for me)-

And may(be) we tangle our legs together

and see how far we can walk?

Today we’ll lay on my sun-kissed roof

and wish upon the daytime stars

so that when night comes our dreams will be ready for bed.

(‘cause aren’t you the one who said wishes are dreams with wings?)

We play the world our song

(you’re the melody and I’m the harmony)

and indigo lullabies wake the indie souls in life.
