You Are blue skies on a flawless day
You Are the sunlight glistening off snow capped mountain peaks
You Are the full moon reflecting soft light on a gentle rolling sea
You Are the brilliant colors displayed in leaves as the seasons change

(I Hear)
You Are the soothing sound of a mountain stream
You Are the cheerful chirping of a bird calling it' s mate
You Are the crash of waves completing their course
You Are distant rolling thunder signaling approaching rain

(I Feel)
You Are the cool breeze bringing comfort on a hot, still day
You Are the warmth of a fireplace on a cold winter' s night
You Are the gentle falling rain on thirsty desert terrain
You Are the arm of a stranger reaching out, "It ll be ok "

 

 

 

 (I Desire)
You Are (The One) I desire to come home to, make love to, awaken to
You Are (The One) I desire to share joy, ecstasy, happiness, sorrow and pain
You Are (The One) I desire to exist for, losing self, in so, finding, living , loving
You Are (The One) I desire by my side when eternity calls

To See, To Hear, To Feel, To Desire.. You Are (The One) 

Author's Note

I use 3 human senses, sight, touch, and hearing. DESIRE, however, is not limited to our physical sensations. Take away my senses of taste, smell, hearing, sight, and touch. My DESIRE can never be taken and exists within and without.....Thanks, Trinity!

Isn't is funny how songs of love could be sang to the Beloved but also could be sang to God~...hence Rabindranath Tagore's work being so stunning~
