SOUL SCREAM

My breath, my being, I long for your touch, the softness of your hands, the smell of your fragrance, the way you will look into my eyes, not able to break your gaze, for, we'll be peering into the depths of the other's soul...

 

You and I...we've found kindred spirits in each other, and our inner souls cry out to the other for comfort, companionship, understanding, and love....

 

We have this seemingly unfillable emptiness that screams.."Come into me, light me, fill the void, occupy every corner, every crevice, every turn and bend. Come in and stay..forever..for once you enter, I'll never let you go"...

 

This is the inner sanctum...the most holy and reserved place of our secret desires...In it lies our (before now) unattainable passions, our longings, our cravings..desires so powerful that we dare not lose them, not even for a moment only. Oh, we've had hints of having these cravings satiated before, but for us, you and me, our joys were fulfilled only slightly, and then in half-measures...

 

Yes, we've tasted the fruits of our deepest passions briefly, only to lose them time and again..... strenghtening our resolve to find lasting and deep contentment...at all costs...

 

You and I...can never be satisfied..not until we find THAT ONE whose soul finds it's way into the others..perfectly forming, conforming to the shape, size and structure of it's new home..becoming so inextricably woven into the being of the other......our two souls, after entering one another...take on new identity, because...we are no longer a spirit unto ourself....

 

Our being has infused itself throughtout the other..shedding it's characteristics, becoming a new and better entity, the one taking on semblences of the other...no longer unto itself, but creating a new being...a new soul..for, the two of us will soon become...one!

I think that you nailed this one. I especailly loved the last stanza. Its like two lovers becoming entwined and their souls are like vines that reach and grow together so that their is no distinguishing to two. Very nicely done. I thought it was great.
