The Electronic Man

The Electronic Man

A Poem by Eziekiel Phlepton

Electronic man you
Fractured six light years away
From today's present
That you gave to him
For the injury

He was taken to the ER
You were sorry, but what was he?

Electronic man you fractured
Two millenia ago
When electricity was not discovered
And Jesus was just born.
How could he have been alive
When you were just a boy
In my dream?

Electronic man you
Fractured...
How and when?
Did you apologize?
Or did you cringe?

The electronic man you factored
Out of your life
To save you
To say you goodnight

The electronic man you fractured
Is not human
He looks through your window
To plot your demise

The electronic man you fractured
Is ten inches tall
Nearly a ghost
With an eye not that small

The electronic man you fractured
Hides in a ditch
And waits for you
You hungry little b***h

The electronic manufactured
Little hungry boy
Plays with his parents
And begs them for toys

The electronic manufactured
Angel
Floats
With her circuits buzzing
Plugged into a wall
Granting wishes to the
Electronic children who are
NOT FRACTURED BY YOU
