Schitzoid

Schitzoid

A Poem by Eziekiel Phlepton

Born with schitzophrenia
I hallucinate the future
And listen to the devil
Who tempts me
And I fall through a glass pyramid
Swinging my hands and feet at the demons
Who eat away at my esophagus
And tear at my skin til I gush blood
All over the white carpet
And my head is pushed down
And shoved into my mess
So I look possessed
When in reality
I have a mental disease
That kills my body
Through violent images
That control my life

I am currently a poet, but I would like to someday write a novel, a play and a screenplay. I enjoy reading Joyce, Philip K. Dick, and I am committed to Zen Buddhism. more..
