Soul

Soul

A Poem by Barbara Walker
"

I have had some worth in this life

"
My soul is realizing,
that, though many of my dreams
have not come to pass,
helping others,
to believe in their dreams,
has a worth, untold.

My soul has lived the dream
of being needed and valued,
as the years have gone by
and now, I am old.

The truth is-
the housing of this soul,
has taken its toll but,
true meaning is in the soul.

Your poetry speaks leaps and bounds... Such a beautiful truth.

the true definition of life is in the soul, indeed the fashioning of a truth,
the meaning is a touching description from birth to enlightenment. wow.

Funny how we can look back and wished we done more. Dreams of life become like memories of ghosts. I like the internal thoughts and the powerful ending. Thank you for the excellent poem.
