Set My Feelings Free

I have written poetry

about numerous things-

the beach, a bird and trees

and I have written poems

about my favorite human beings.

 

The words flow, quickly,

from my heart to my hand

and all the feelings I know,

pour out, as fast as they can.

 

Words are such a part of me,

the very best of friends;

they set my feelings free

and will, til my life ends.
