My Beloved Sisters

My Beloved Sisters

A Poem by Barbara Walker

When younger, my sisters would tease me,

oh, they could make me as mad,

as mad can be!

However, I made them mad,

many, many times,

as I chased them with any bug I had!

Now, who is always there for me,

when I need a shoulder or a hand?

My beloved sisters, Susie and Janie.

What a sweet remembrance. It is truly a blessing having loving siblings to cherish. I am fortunate in that regard myself.

Sisters and brothers can challenge our patience. But we need their voices and laughter near. A excellent poem.

I have two sisters as well. I was the oldest. Funny how sisters seem to have a love/hate relationship. I read a great book about the relationship of sisters, The Wicked Sisters.
