Thus, Is LifeA Poem by Barbara WalkerThoughts going throiugh my head on a late Thursday night in March, 2012.God, I'm fat, hey, these jeans make my butt look good!
I am so tired! A movie? That sounds good!
I am so weak! I took care of him while he was sick.
I am not the type to have any patience. My sister needed a break, so I took care of her kids for three days.
I feel so ugly. My little cousin said she wants to look like me.
My freckles are a turn off. I'd like to kiss every one of your freckles.
I don't have time. Sure, I'll give you a ride to the store.
Just a reminder that we are rarely 100% one thing or another in our own eyes or any other person's eyes. When things aren't going well, this too shall pass. When things are going well, this too shall pass.
Thus, is life.
