A Poem by Barbara Walker
"

Self explanatory

"
Do you know...
whenever we are apart,
visions of you dance in my mind
and in my heart?

I see your smile,
as if you were here;
the vision so clearly you,
I can't help but smile, my dear.

Or maybe, I'll be remembering
something you said to me,
a comment, quite hilarious
and then, I'm laughing, loudly.

Or I'm staring off into the distance,
my body remembering your hands,
when they lovingly caressed me,
til I hoped the hourglass never ran out of sand.

Someone near me, may even ask,
what are you thinking of,
then, my smile becomes much brighter,
when I answer-thinking of my love.

Thank you!
Comforting thoughts of a loved one, always good to carry those around with you wherever you go, this brought a smile to my face.

Glad I could make you smile!
A beautiful poem of love. Some people can light us up with the appearance of them in mind and thoughts. Nice description lead the reader to a very good ending. Thank you for the excellent poetry.
