A dog scoop or shovel. b. a trash bag. c. good eyes (not essential, but, highly recommended). d. old shoes to wear, used for accidently stepping in dog poop (see step 2c). Step 3. Survey the yard for likely prospects, mentally taking note of their placement in the yard. Step 4. If you have problems with Step 3, see Step 2d. Step 5. Starting at the nearest pile of poop, use the shovel to lift the pile into the trash bag. If you are new to this task, it may take several attempts to get all of the pile. Rest assured, with practice, you will improve! Step 6. Continue until all poop is scooped into the trash bag. Step 7. Tie the bag shut, place into outside trash can. Step 8. Put shovel away. Step 9. Clean old shoes of poop, that you stepped in. Step 10. Vow to get glasses or contacts!
