Rays Of SunshineA Poem by Barbara Walkerabout my sister and brother-in-lawThere are two rays of sunshine in my life, in the form of my brother-in-law, Jack and my sister, Sue, his wife.
I want them to be aware that I so appreciate their loving care.
How do I thank you for loving me and going far above and beyond in all that you do?
It's not for simply holding a door or saying that my hair looks nice, no, it's for so much more.
It's as if you took my shivering heart and soul, held them in your hand, warming them, and gently put them back, making me feel whole. © 2010 Barbara Walker |
