Friend

Friend

A Poem by Barbara Walker
"

For the friend's or relative's we appreciate in our lives

"

We just don't seem

to get the time

to tell the ones we love

how much they mean

to us.

I am going to take this day

to say,

I'm thankful for you in my life!

My life is richer for knowing you.

I'm glad that you are my

brother-in-law,

but if you had not been,

I would be blessed

to call you friend.

Very warm and sweet tribute. We need to tell those we love that we do love and appreciate them - it is wonderful to hear and wonderful to say.

This was a really cute poem! And I think it's something we all want to do, but can't seem to find the time or get lost in our own lives that we don't take the time to appreciate those around us that make us who we are! :) Very sweet, I enjoyed reading!
