Consumed

Every nerve,

every fiber of my being

is consumed

with pain.

Oh, how I would welcome

death, how merciful

to me;

to fall asleep,

never to awaken...

 

through my turmoil,

anguish and tears,

I cannot comprehend,

how I can hold on to

my sanity,

if I'm forced

to endure this

for years.

i can understand,pain is very upsetting once its there ,it turns our life upside down ,we can not concentrate,it even destroys our soul,it weakens our personality,it drag us down to earth begging for life to end so that it stops ,oh i feel you dear ,i have bout of severe chronic pain ,i see then all things black ,but i wish ,only wish you could somehow live with it,compromise ,see if you can get somewhere you dont tell what it is so i am in the dark ,i worked long with this and i know how it feels ,i just wish you to know that taking our lives may not be the solution,but off course you know best ,i just think we are much stronger if we wanted if never let it completely take over,this is so sad i am following your words ,please talk more ,its good

Chilling. We all know a little about this feeling. We dread the thought of pain. Death would be more welcome. Amazing work.
