When the body doesn't sync with the mind we really have only a few options. Those options control our destiny and the one important part of any options is belief. Belief of what is around you, what you have seen in your wonderful life, and how you entertained your heart and soul, give you that added gift.
Although you might be looking for answers frantically, you will find them blowing gentle in the breeze, flowing down the creek, soaring in the sky or even as a single drop of rain anoints your soul. As you walk outside on a starry moonless night, the array of lights lifts your feet as the pain subsides because the beauty that is so plentiful has transposed your mind and caroled you quest for peace.
What you believe no matter what it is, can lift your spirit and dull the pain, because what you see out in the vast world, gives new hope to those that reach for more than just a few feetI love your writings
dont we all have those times when common sense hides in a dark corner. leaving us to fend for our irrational selves ? this is well expressed in these few lines. you have done a great job giving voice to "things" some would rather not "discuss in polite company". i hope you and common sense can come to an understanding. ;)

I am retired from the Postal Service. I find I write poetry to help myself through difficult times and I have written many poems in response to the chronic pain I've been living with for over 30 year.. more..
